Just Farms News November 2020!
A message from Philip and JoAnne
It’s been a year….to say the least and agricultural real estate has been a year like no other. We have seen a very active market where farms are trading hands privately, by tender and through the expertise of real estate professionals. Prices remain strong, our listings are selling and our inventory of farms to market is low. If you are considering selling, we are interested in confidential discussions with you. Our only focus is farms. Big or small. Winter months are a time when many who farm get a chance to regroup, reevaluate their operations and take time to consider buying or selling farms. Whether by tender, exclusive listing or fully marketing on MLS, we are committed to getting you the best price, protecting your interests and making the whole process as smooth as possible. Just Call…Just Farms.
Farmers can use information from seed guides to inform management practices later in the season
Once your crop is growing in the field, it’s up to Mother Nature and your agronomic management decisions to try to capture the full yield potential of that seed.
The month of November has brought incredible weather for Harvest, and I am happy to see our clients taking full advantage of the pleasant weather. I’ve spent the unseasonably warm days working in my vegetable gardens, and taking in the amazing sunsets with my family. Now we can all shift gears and get into the holiday spirit.

As the 2020 harvest season comes to a close across Canada, many farmers and people alike are reflecting on a year that has been unlike any we have ever experienced before. With lockdowns and restrictions, closures and cancellations people everywhere have had to face new challenges at every turn. But without missing a step, farmers across Canada have worked as hard as ever to continue to do what they do best, farm. And to that I say, thank you! Thank you to all of the farmers out there for all of your hard work and dedication in 2020 and for continuing to press on and provide for a world that needs you now more than ever.

Looking for an opportunity to get some extra cash off your land in the winter months? Last month I met the CEO of LandPass who is connecting landowners with hunters. Check out his website to find out how.
